This one is pretty simple. Head to Ruined Shrine in Chozo Ruins, which is where you got the Morph Ball.
Boost ball up to the hole where the spider ball track to the purple door begins,
but don't go in that hole.
Instead, take a look at the part of the track which is down from the ceiling and
looks like you could land on it. Go to the edge and jump off to the track, then
space jump right as you reach it. If done correctly you'll land on it. Then just
space jump again to the purple door and get the Wavebuster as it's normally
done.
