This is the easy room compared to Metroid Quarantine B and Fungal Hall A. The mushroom in front of the door can be reached by simply using a space jump from the ground under it. You have to hug the wall to the right while doing your first jump, then go for the mushroom with your second jump. It really isn't that hard.
