The TRO Trap is an extremely useless trick that is very hard to pull off and serves only to get you trapped with no hope of escape.
What it is is after the power goes off, you manage to get into TRO via the secret passage which you should not be able to enter until you have space jump.
There is no reason in the universe for you to try this, but it's a funky thing to see, so here's how to do it:
First at the bottom of the big generator room with roots all over the place, you run into the save point and build a shine.
Then on the way out, you jump as high as you can get along the right wall before it wears off, and spark diagonally up left.
When you hit the wall, you must quickly shoot diagonally up right to clear a root away, then quickly again hit left and jump to start spinning left, then right and jump immediately after to wall jump off.
From there it's a matter of using a jump extend to grab onto the root that remains, see the video for specifics.
