Space jump on the column of rock in the video, then around the disc to land on a small invisible ledge. Once on top of the disc, space jump to the pole above the grapple point, then just jump down to the energy tank. To get back, space jump at the platform. Although you won't make it, you'll be placed there anyway if you managed to touch it before falling.

The tank can also be gotten by dashing. Get on the edge of the platform closest to it, then scan dash (back) using the kinetic orb. Return by scan dashing (forward) from the same orb.
