Main Items Required: Screw Attack

Description: Screw attack into the tunnel. Move forward a bit to avoid popping back into the room. L-lock jump up then left as the jump is stifled. L-lock jump slightly left repeatedly to enter the secret world proper. When you escape the tunnel, use the second jump to land on top of it.

Main Items Required: Screw Attack

Description: From the opposite wall, BSJ (or Ghetto jump) for extra height, then initiate and quickly cancel a screw attack into the textured-over hole in Hive Dynamo Works. (The hole is where you would exit the spider ball puzzle in the light Aether version of the room.)

The screw attack cancel (a B-button press on the ascending side of a screw attack cycle, or a double press while descending) facilitates hitting the lip of the hole with Samus feet in this narrow room. This is necessary to end the SA animation completely before entering the SW. Failure to do so will usually result in an fall forever (reset) scenario. The cancel also negates the SA bounce effect.

Alternate method


Main Items Required: Space Jump, Bombs

Description: With your back to the hole mentioned above, BSJ (or perhaps Ghetto jump) for extra height, then use an instant morph (bfmam) to get through hole and into the SW. Quickly unmorph to avoid falling too far.
