The jump seems to be easier after you collect the Space Jump boots. And not because of having two jumps - Samus seems to jump higher after getting the SJB, with even the single jump.

I tried it on a new file, and I couldn't get up there very easily - then, I loaded my previous save and tried it with a single jump ((after collecting the SJB.)) It is a lot easier with the SJB.

Anyone have an idea why the Boots would affect a single jump? Kenjoki 15:11, 15 Feb 2005 (CST)

Flamancipator- I noticed this same thing going on, how it seems to much easier with SJ boots. Apparently after asking around, sparky informed me that it's not just an illusion, you do get more height off a normal jump when you have SJ boots. Why? Beats me. It is quite helpful, though.

I was never any good a Ghetto Jumping... Can anyone give me detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do this? --SheeEttin 15:51, 14 Jun 2005 (CDT)

You might have better luck in the forums. You could try this link though. http://www.genericgamer.com/MP2/GFMCghetto/index.htm doninss

Haven't checked this page since I last wrote anything. Heh. Anyway, I've gotten pretty good at it. It requires a certain technique, like the SJB first in MP1. I like to stand about a foot and a half from the toe of the "boot", lock my view down abouve the same "toe", and jump at the protruding upper parts of the boot. When I am just barely touching it, I switch directions (Ghetto Jumping off it) releasing Las I change directions one more time to push up onto the ledge. Usually works for me. --SheeEttin 09:42, 19 Jul 2005 (CDT)
