As soon as the fight starts, start charging a hyper shot and walk underneath him (this is so the bat things don't get in the way) and shoot it all at him. This stuns him. Now shoot a fully charged shot at Helios, then take a hit to get more Phazon. Then shoot another fully charged shot, and start charging the next. This is where Helios starts calling the bat things back to him; when the charge shot becomes fully charged, shoot it again to instantly stun. Repeat until dead. This allows you to get a fight where he never uses any of his forms.

(this is on Hypermode, btw - normal/veteran might need to shoot less than two fully charged shots to return him to normal and less than one fully charged shot to stun)

After entering the Skyway Access SW, use aether jumps to reach the skywalk in Skyway Access. Drop down over the door to Transit Station 1104 and shoot it. Jump off the door then space jump back onto it. After TS1104 is secretized, shoot the door again. Jump off and space jump back on while moving toward TS1104 to enter it. Aether jump to the skywalk again in TS1104 and proceed to the door to TS0203. Secretize the room, then jump on top of it and morph (make sure the map says you are in TS1104). Boost a couple times into TS0203 and unmorph to fall through, then use a morph ball bomb to open the door to TS1104. Reenter TS1104, then go through the door again to get back in the room with the map in the right place.

You may encounter a glitch in TS0205 where the cutscene where the troopers run past Samus doesn't trigger. If this happens, dump the room by going two rooms away and reload it. When you get to the seed, if you don't have the Nova Beam, you can bypass the creatures on the way to Omega Ridley by doing a Screw Attack and landing right in front of them, then going through them during the SA unmorph animation. You cannot, however, kill Omega Ridley without the Nova Beam.

Command Courtyard (PH Command)

Looking directly at the shield, stand in the bottom right corner and you can barely avoid the rain. Turn to face the terminal and move a fraction of an inch forward directly along the shield, drainig the gate from a safe location.

Just make sure you're as close to the shield as possible when sliding towards the Grapple Voltage terminal, or else YOU WILL take damage from the acid rain.

Skyway Access (PH Command)

There are three times when a cutscene plays out and puts you directly in the line of acid rain when you control Samus again. They can be a challenge if you're not fully prepared.

Upon entering the room for the 1st time, follow BlueGlass's video and stay on the left wall rather than SAing into the room. This appears to be the only way you can survive to the next segment, since SAing into the room seems to immediately kill you once you gain control again.

Always remember to backup as soon as you gain control each of the three times, or else you will get hit by the acid rain. You lose the most damage going from the 2nd battle to the 3rd battle (Both Clawtanks), so it's best to use the crates in the room to restore all of your energy before blasting the 4th Clawtank and proceeding to the 3rd cutscene.

Once all of the enemies are dead, proceed quickly to the morph ball tunnel and hop in.

Note: By holding down Z when acquiring control of Samus again, it appears you can move out of the acid rain faster than without it, lowering the amount of damage you take after each cutscene. Compare the two vids to see the difference:

Mine Lift (PH Mines)

This one's pretty easy. All you need to do is head directly towards the Spiderball track and you'll do fine. The two spinners that lower the elevator so you can continue onward are covered, so no worrying about acid rain there.

Phazon Harvesting (PH Mines)

This one may seem nasty, but for the most part it's smooth sailing.

Turn left while on the end of first platform and space jump into a Screw Attack, if you do it right you can either land on the next level under cover, or else end up terminal falling and being put there otherwise. This skips the first two bridges without worrying about the rain.

The third bridge is more of a vertical distance than horizontal. Jump out onto the bridge about 1/2 way up, and then jump and SA to the other side of the room to get under cover. You're going to be taking some minor rain damage from here to the end, but by moving fast enough you can direct yourself across from the final door after jumping up a little bit without much of a loss.

If you SA across and hit directly to the right of where the 4th bridge connects with the final platform where the door is, after terminal falling it will respawn you right there and under cover. Make sure you get enough height to hit right under the edge, or else you will respawn back on the far side of the room where you started the SA from.

Unfortunately, the Harvester CAN still hit you here, so be alert and avoid taking fire while waiting for the door to open. If possible, you can try to quickly stun it if it looks like it's about to fire at you.
Main Cavern (PH Mines)

Nothing special here. Defeat the pirates in the mine and obtain the Nova Beam!

Transit Station Leviathan (PH Command)

This is the only other room that you haven't been in with acid rain after collecting the Nova Beam. The rain comes into play after destroying the door leading to the seed. By calling in your ship from a covered area, you will appear directly below it after it lands. Move into the elevator and fly off to Omega Ridley, leaving the Hazard Shield far behind!

Paraxade's Explanation

Definitely the most difficult SW in the game so far. Also, you must be doing this on a file where the Skyway gate has not been opened. First, clear the room of enemies, then on the walls there are a couple snake things or something like that (they're decorative parts of the background and have a slant and appear to have a head or something). Anyway, go to the one closer to you on the right and do a 1BSJ off it. After you jump, move back so you ghetto off the snake, then space jump toward the gate. There's a spot where it dips and to the left of it there's some slidey surface stuff. You need to make the bsj + screw attack near perfectly so that you initiate the screw attack right on the slidey surface, and you'll slide up. Now morph (but be VERY CAREFUL that you don't accidentally fall off after morphing) and boost up where there's a tiny wall. Lay a bomb here, then boost back up and bomb jump over the wall. Unmorph and land in the standard.
This section is designed to let the community know what the sequence breakers are trying to find/need to find next and potential leads on new discoveries. If you have a request or any leads on a potential sequence break, trick, or secret world feel free to post it here. The more people who are looking, the better the chances of us finding things a lot faster.
Elysia, Main Docking Bay SW
Currently we are looking for a Secret World on the main docking bay in Elysia to allow us to get the Spiderball without the Hyperball. If you discover an entrance to a secret world in this area, please post it on the forums asap.

Early Screw Attack, Bryyo Ice
By using Secret World #6 (Temple of Bryyo, Bryyo Fire) it is possible to gain access to Bryyo Ice early. It has just been determined that, by using partially charged Hyper Beam shots, you can destory the floors of ice leading to the Screw Attack, allowing us to collect it and get back to the portal. However, as of this time there is no way to exit Bryyo Ice without having the Plasma Beam. If anyone is willing to search for a Secret World in Bryyo Ice and find a way out past the areas in Bryyo Fire requiring the Plasma Beam, it would allow us to collect the Screw Attack and gain access to the Valhalla BEFORE landing on Elysia if the triggers work correctly. If anyone manages to find a way out, please post your discovery on the forums.

Sigfriedxx noticed that getting hit by a Reptilicus' whip attack gives tremendous
momentum. Lets see how else we can exploit this. Example

Bryyo, Hangar Bay SW
I (Prime Hunter) have been playing around with the Hangar Bay in Bryyo trying to get up to the open hangar bay door in order to see if we can jump out of it and into a Secret World, after we acquire the Ship Missile upgrade. So far I've been able to get right next to it using these techniques:
*Ride the elevator up to the second floor
*While pointed across the room towards the wall that has the door in it, do a BSJ and jump up to the roof of the elevator. (You must either have the elevator on the second floor still or else be standing on the small strip of metal that acts as the frame of the elevator in order to perform this.)
*Jump across the platforms leading to the hangar door

As far as I can tell, a normal BSJ doesn't give enough height to hit the open doorway. A 2BSJ looks to be required, but I cannot duplicate this technique myself.

Late Grapple Swing
|}
Sigfriedxx has found two locations where the grapple swing is unnecessary. While you will need it later in the game, these will allow you to do many other things first. Lets continue looking for alternative routes to needing the Grapple Swing.
Fano7 also noted the corrupted pool Grapple Swing can be skipped by a BSJ.

Elysia, Transit Hub SW
Paraxade has found a 2bsj in Transit Hub that leads to a secret world. Video. Unfortunately, you cannot do anything in there, as you can't reach a skywalk and you cannot get out to a spot where you are outside the map and can aether jump. From on top of the bomb component, you can jump over the invisible wall in the back. You can also screw attack around inside the building.
By hitting Dark Samus with a Hyper Missile at the following times, she can be stunned for several seconds. Even if you mistime the shot, she will put up the barrier that protects her, which usually cancels whatever she's doing at the time:
* Right after she stops moving
* Right before she starts moving
* As she's about to lower her missile barrier
* During certain ground attacks

Later, when she starts cloning herself, you can turn on the X-Ray visor to see which DS is the real one. The real one is the one that doesn't blend into the background.

When she has a single clone and the two of them start spinning around with the lasers, you can easily avoid them by morphing. You can also attempt to Hyper Ball the two of them by staying inbetween them for some quick damage.

Once she starts spinning around with the two clones and attempts to collide with you, you can avoid this attack by Screw Attacking across the battlefield. As as added bonus, they usually end up spinning right through your Screw Attack and damage themselves in the process several times per crossing. (This can sometimes kill one or both of the clones depending on the timing.)

Alternate Method: Discovered by Prime Hunter

During the battle on Normal difficulty, it may be faster to continuously fire the uncharged Hyper Beam at Dark Samus in order to do damage. If you are fast enough, you can drain Dark Samus down to about 1/2 health and skip the cutscene where she first splits in two. By continuing this method of attack, Dark Samus can end up in a constant loop: She splits into three, rushes into the sky to recharge, and as soon as she drops down again, she will head to the center to collect the three and begin the process again. There is a few seconds between her landing and collecting the three versions of herself where you can get in plenty of fire and do significant amounts of damage to her, making it so the that loop has to only occur a few times before the fight is over.

This method of attack appears to work well on Veteran difficulty as well, but at a slower pace and without skipping the cutscene where she splits into two. However, there is also a greater chance that Dark Samus will be able to move into a different attack due to this slower pace, so use the strategies above to deal with them if that happens.

Gateway Hall - Coming from your ship the first time through, since Gateway takes awhile to load (5+ secs) shoot the door, and while the room is loading turn around and grapple-pull the statue. You'll need it to climb up on your way back later, but here you wont lose time since you're waiting for the room to load.

Bryyo Hangar Bay - Small timesaver, in Bryyo Hangar Bay (where you upgrade your ship) To climb up to the console, you can skip grapple-pulling that one ledge out of the wall. After you jumped up the green ledge, you can space-jump directly to the morph-ball platform on the right. The jump is kind of tight but doable. Video

Imperial Hall - After your first trip, you can morphball through the whole room (it's right by Fiery Airdock) by spring jumping over the pools of fuel gel. Hug the right wall to make your life easier, you can roll along most of the gel and jumps are easy. Spring ball up the ramp after.

Discovered by Andrew Mills

Gel Refinery Site - To go into the next room (Main Lift) you can simply ghetto jump up to the ledge rather than shooting two charge shots into the gel thingy. There is a small railing on the ground toward the left and you can use that to ghetto up to the platform. Additional note: you can also simply jump on the ledge between the 2 gel thingies then jump to the door.

Grand Court - On your way back from getting the Grapple Swing, you can use two bsj to get back up to the door. The first bsj avoids going up and around to use the grapple swing. The 2nd one avoids grapple pulling 2 panels out and using the morph ball tunnel.

Generator Hall North - Use a ghetto jump to get to the 2nd turret backwards. It can also be done using a bsj. Note: after doing this generator, you cannot cross directly to the 1st generator; triggering the battle will lock you in the room. You can, however, go back if you trigger the fight before destroying the cannon.

Grand Court - During the Reptilicus Hunter fight, use the bsjs to get to the door out of the room. Proceed to dump the room, then reload it. You will be able to go on and get Grapple Swing without killing the Reptilicus Hunters.
Gateway (after Screw Attack) : When traveling from Gateway Hall, into Gateway, then into Crash Site, once you Screw Attack from the entrance platform onto the left platform near the Crash Site entrance, you can then SJ, SA once, and land on the ledge. This saves just a wee bit of time; I think it's faster than walking to the shorter portion of the ledge and doing a normal SJ. Probably only useful for 100%.

Discovered by El Padrino

Jungle Generator
It is possible to bomb the generator on Thorn Jungle without having to destroy the first turret, just go to the second one via BSJ in Generator Hall North, then destroy the second turret (without triggering the cutscene there or else you'll be stuck and have to restart) and coming back to Jungle Generator, sometimes the "Bomb" icon won't appear when enter, just go through any door (you don't have to dump the room) and come back, the icon should be there now.
Maintenance Shaft CC : Instead of going into the morph ball tunnel, you can screw attack through. It doesn't look like you can, but you are able to. You need to space jump as far as you can and delay the screw attack until you are under (height wise) the piece of equipment. Then, angle yourself to the other platform. Kind of hard to explain. In other words, there is no need for the green ledge and the morph ball tunnel.
