As we all know, when you hold R, Samus puts her left hand on the cannon to aim. Also, if you switch beams while her hand is on the cannon, she will remove her hand until the cannon finishes switching beams. However, if you let go of R during the animation, Samus won't put her hand back and every time after that you switch beams, Samus' hand will move close to her cannon, but then move back away, making it look as if she is performing a karate chop of some sort!

To fix the glitch, simply hold R so that Samus' hand touches the cannon.

Fear teh Kung Fu Samus!
----
If you hold R longer in-between the animation, ((not sure exactly how long, but up to the point the animation stops, or slightly before)) ''then'' release R, Samus will put her hand on the arm cannon and leave it there.

Note that this is a very picky one - if you L-lock anything or even tap R to the point it's registered as a button-press, it'll undo. But it's interesting to see Samus holding her cannon steady as you move forward, backward, and all over the place. [[User:Kenjoki Ikari|Kenjoki]] 15:20, 15 Feb 2005 (CST)

Here is some weirdness I found while messing around in Watch Station.

First hop into the morph ball cannon and fire over to the spider tracks. Drop down, spider to the right, and bomb jump up; you're now attached to where you might do a backwards mid-air morph into the bomb slot.

Now, do a double bomb jump while holding up on the control stick, releasing R while doing so. You should blast up and over the spider track, coming to land by the portal. While falling, try unmorphing like crazy. One of three things may happen:

1. Nothing >_>

2. Once you've landed, you will be unable to unmorph, completely stuck in morph ball form. All upgrades that you've collected still work, but pressing the unmorph button simply yields the buzz sound that occurs when you can't unmorph (or fire a missile or several other things). If you roll into the void, you'll respawn unmorphed and everything will be back to normal. I believe the cause of this glitch is that you move from a "no unmorphing" zone (the spider ball tracks) to a "morphing" zone, but somehow bypass the trigger that says you've left the "no unmorphing" zone.

3. You will unmorph, but the camera will be stuck sideways after unmorphing. As in, the sky will be to your left and the ground will be to your right. A terminal fall will fix this problem. This sideways camera glitch is likely producable in other areas/circumstances, but it happened for me twice here so maybe you'll have some luck too :p

From Snytbaggen: It also works by falling down the "tube" in the room, that's how I made it.

----

From Mikaa:(better explanation)

Where - Watch Station (Sanctuary Fortress) Starting Point - Ammo Expansion Chamber at the Watch Station

Leave via the tube that would deposit you in front of the Portal leading to the dark world.
Just before you leave, continually hit the button to de-morph.
If you did it right, you should have the screen shift immediately from morph ball to normal.
Morph back IMMEDIATELY.
If you see yourself in ball mode in part of the tunnel, hit the morph ball button one time. If not, restart.
If done right, the screen should be at an odd angle.
Can be undone by going back to morph ball mode.
Uses for Glitch - Nada that I know of, given that it can be reset.

You can Shoot at tallon five but not distroy it ....pity
Note u can see your attacks hit the planet like if it was a solid surface best eg. using missiles or super missiles

If you have the second player in the game look at the other player shooting from another angle, you can plainly see that you ''aren't'' hitting Tallon IV but an invisible wall that sits between you and the planet. Also, is the fact that if you shoot anything outside of the area where there is nothing but empty space, you still hit that same wall. Furthermore, is the fact that the planet must be extremely far away and Samus' arm cannon was not designed for and therefore cannot reach a planet from a Space Station which orbits it.

In levels with grapple hooks (Shooting Gallery and Sidehopper Station), you can reach the grapple hook (and therefore the upper level) by standing under them a little to the front/back, looking up, double jumping. This puts you just within grapple's reach, and is good for nabbing the super missiles that are under some of the grapple hooks or quickly sneaking to the upper level.
If you lay a morph ball bomb under an opponent, it will detonate immediately, instead of the normal delay that you have when laying a bomb.
No matter where you drop a Morph Ball Bomb, it will immediately explode if someone touches it. Thus, dropping Morph Ball Bombs behind oneself while fleeing will not require timing to have the bombs explode at the right time, they will explode when someone touches them.
