If you have the second player in the game look at the other player shooting from another angle, you can plainly see that you ''aren't'' hitting Tallon IV but an invisible wall that sits between you and the planet. Also, is the fact that if you shoot anything outside of the area where there is nothing but empty space, you still hit that same wall. Furthermore, is the fact that the planet must be extremely far away and Samus' arm cannon was not designed for and therefore cannot reach a planet from a Space Station which orbits it.

Here is some weirdness I found while messing around in Watch Station.

First hop into the morph ball cannon and fire over to the spider tracks. Drop down, spider to the right, and bomb jump up; you're now attached to where you might do a backwards mid-air morph into the bomb slot.

Now, do a double bomb jump while holding up on the control stick, releasing R while doing so. You should blast up and over the spider track, coming to land by the portal. While falling, try unmorphing like crazy. One of three things may happen:

1. Nothing >_>

2. Once you've landed, you will be unable to unmorph, completely stuck in morph ball form. All upgrades that you've collected still work, but pressing the unmorph button simply yields the buzz sound that occurs when you can't unmorph (or fire a missile or several other things). If you roll into the void, you'll respawn unmorphed and everything will be back to normal. I believe the cause of this glitch is that you move from a "no unmorphing" zone (the spider ball tracks) to a "morphing" zone, but somehow bypass the trigger that says you've left the "no unmorphing" zone.

3. You will unmorph, but the camera will be stuck sideways after unmorphing. As in, the sky will be to your left and the ground will be to your right. A terminal fall will fix this problem. This sideways camera glitch is likely producable in other areas/circumstances, but it happened for me twice here so maybe you'll have some luck too :p

From Snytbaggen: It also works by falling down the "tube" in the room, that's how I made it.

Notes:

*In any room with a '''Terminal Fall''' and '''Dark Splinters''', you can destroy them without them leaping at you. Simply stand next to the Terminal Fall so that if the Dark Splinters were to leap at you, they would fall off and never been seen again. Now, you can freely shoot at them without worry, as appearantly, they are intelligent enough to not leap and put their lives at risk. They won't attack you, and they will stay their distance. It is unknown whether '''Splinters''' act like Dark Splinters in this case.

*'''GFMC Compound''' is a great starting room to use this trick.

These tricks also work on Hard Mode.

-Anytime Boost Guardian is in Boost Ball mode, if you can hit him with a bomb, he will immediately revert to his vulnerable "red puddle" form. Since there's so little of him to hit, however, you either have to get dangerously close or have excellent timing, as only the "bomb jump" point of the blast will count. Otherwise just hit him with bombs once he reverts to the puddle and chases you. In normal mode exactly nine bombs will disable him.

-If Boost Guardian rams into one of the four pillars in the room, he will destroy it, reverting to the red puddle and leaving behind an Ultra Energy pickup. Stay behind one to stay safe, get health, or catch him off guard.

-in Boost Mode, the guardian tends to travel in complete triangular paths. Knowing this, you can get a good sense of where to be in order to not get rammed.

-Charged Light Shots are faster and ultimately more effective than Super Missiles, especially in Hard Mode.

-If you want to get a Logbook Scan, wait until you've killed him. When he begins his death animation you'll have just enough time to get a complete scan.

Also, positioning yourself so there is a pilliar between the Boost Guardian and you will protect you, and possibly get you an ultra energy. I have found this way an easy way to beat him (2 tries)
