Anyway, you want to be sucked into a spinner while holding something like down-left, as well as L and R. It should move some, then go back to its original poisition.

BoostR: Sorry, man. I found this a while ago. proof: http://www.samusforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2178 (SW13). But hey, it was found seperately, so I don't see why we can't both get credit for it.

<center><h2>Torvus Temple Secret World</h2>
<b>''Discovered By''</b>:

'''BoostR, MMcLean54 (seperately)'''</center>
<ul>This is a '''Secret World''' that requires patience, and a lot of it. First off, you need the following items:</ul>

*'''Space Jump'''
*'''Screw Attack'''

<ul>To begin, start on the bottom level. Stand on the rim of the elevator, facing the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel. Hold '''L''' and make a single jump so that it almost reaches the ledge that the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel is on. While still in the air, make a shallow jump that reaches the very start of the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel. Then, when you are just about to touch it, activate your '''Screw Attack'''. Hopefully, you will be propelled into the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel. Since you have to stand up after the '''Screw Attack''', your body should go right through the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel. You then should see two of them. Quickly fiddle around with the buttons on the controller. Soon, you will see only one '''Morph Ball''' tunnel. When this has occured, the game can do one of the following actions:</ul>

*Place you in a '''Secret World'''
*Place you back in the designed area, right in front of the '''Morph Ball''' tunnel

<ul>But if you do manage to get into the '''Secret World''', you could possibly become stuck. All you have to do is fiddle around again with the controls, and you should be fine. Try not to use the '''Morph Ball''' too often, because you can get stuck that way. But, sometimes it is helpful if you use it in the right way. Just whatever you do, don't use the '''Screw Attack''' after you initially used it. It's just like in the '''[[Main Energy Controller]]'''. You can get in position where the carmera will start to wiggle around and you will see yourself in a third-person perspective. You'll have to reset your game in that condition. If you don't make it, keep trying. It takes practice and patience to do this.</ul>

'''Features''':

*You can fall down really low, so watch out. Try not to go too close to the ends of the room if you don't want to fall.
*The elevator in the center of the room goes all the way underground.
*The water is one big thick square. If you fall down to the lower level of the room, just look up and you should see it.
*There's no black void at the very bottom of the '''Torvus Bog''' background. It's white, and it's more at your level of veiw. It's hard to see with the blinding sun in your eyes.
*You can actually shoot through the walls, but in the end it hits the walls behind it. (Unless you're shooting through the wall to the sky) Appearantly, the collision code doesn't apply when your beam is intruding from the outside, (Probably to save memory) but it does apply when an object hits the interior of a wall. This is very much unlike '''Metroid Prime'''.

*This trick allows you to grab a Beam Ammo Expansion without either the Light or Dark Beams. This does not allow you to use them so it's more of a novelty than anything else.
*There's a bug (or a feature) that prevents the turrets from working the first time you walk into the room so you'll have to reload the room after the Space Pirate battle first.
*Next to the cylindrical structures that house the turrets are slanted pillars. Simply [[ghetto jump]] up one of them onto the top platform (easier said than done). Once up top, simply blow up the three areas (left of the forcefield, the right wall, and the box on the left) and claim your prize.

The Ghetto Jump (which was named by Kip) is a move used to achieve greater jump heights than usual by means of using a wall and holding L to lock your veiw. When jumping, press against or just barely touch a wall. There are different variations of this jump, such as holding L for a certain amount of time or jumping into a crack to force yourself upwards. It all depends on your surroundings.

The Ghetto Jump is most noticable when you execute this trick underwater, while still being hindered by the affects of water. Extremely high distances have been recorded. Some hindered single jumps have even matched the height of regular, unhindered space jumps.

Dark Samus 3 & 4 Strategy
''By Solr_Flare''

''Contributors: Solr_Flare, Prime Hunter, a multitude of others''

'''Dark Samus 3:'''

Weapon of Choice: Annihilator

1) To get from DS3 to DS4, you must first take off 1/4 of DS's life bar.

2) The ideal weapon to use is Annihilator as it does significant damage. But if you are out of one or both ammo types, any other beam/charged beam will work. Annihilator regular shots can drop her to 75% health in about 10 seconds though.

3) Be sure not to attempt to damage her when she has a glowing "blue shield" around her, as you will not be able to hit her. Easiest is when she is stealthed and only visable via the echo visor.

''Added by Prime Hunter''

Also, when Dark Samus goes into the floating mode where she fires the phazon-like beam at you, I found that you can pretty much stand under her and not get hit by this: Easier to do than trying to dogde it in my opinion

'''Dark Samus 4'''

Weapon of Choice: Charged Power Beam, Super Missiles

1) DS has two different phases in this form: "Bubble mode" and "Not in Bubble mode"

2) Bubble Mode consists of 2 different attacks

- giant blue/white homing phazon particles that she randomly shoots

- small blue/white snowflakes that she shoots out of the top of the bubble towards you whenever her bubble '''expands'''

3) When she is in bubble mode, there is one wall in the room that does not have phazon against it. Back yourself up against the wall to give yourself room.

4) Begin charging your power beam while she is in bubble mode. Use dash jumps to the left and right to easily dodge the large phazon particles she shoots at you.

5) When she unleashes the "snowflakes" in bubble mode, you must suck 3 in like a vaccuum with your charging power beam.

6) Once you have 3 snowflakes sucked in, your charge will glow blue and sparkle. '''Quickly''' shoot that at Dark Samus to damage her lifebar.

7) Eventually her bubble will shrink and she will float to the ground. The instant she begins to stand up from her crouch, fire a Super missile at close range. This will instantly force her back into bubble mode.

8) Should you miss with the super missile when she lands, damage from any beam(annihilator prefered) can force her back into bubble mode again.

Now repeat this until you finally beat her. It takes approximately 5 to 6 snowflake powered charge beams in bubble mode to finish her on normal difficulty.

''Added by Prime Hunter''

When she is in the "bubble" mode, I also noticed that if you move inward towards her when she fires the large phazon particles (You need to be pretty close to her for this to work), you can easily avoid them. Just be sure to move back off a bit after it hits. This is so that when she expands the bubble for the "snowflakes", the expansion doesn't collide with you.

And one minor note here: When she fires the snowflakes out at you, be sure to manually aim at them instead of continuing to lock onto Dark Samus: Trust me on this one...
